Art Signature Project

On behalf of the BKM (The Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media), Michael Eichfeld photographed works by important artists such as Markus Lüpertz, Abraham David Christian, Anselm Kiefer, Rosemarie Trockel, Roy Lichtenstein, Jörg Immendorff, Katharina Grosse, Tony Cragg, Stephan Balkenhol, Tobias Rehberger, Claudia Rogge, Simone Strasser and Klaus Vogelgesang.

A Sinar technical camera and high-precision Bläsing long-field lights were used to ensure maximum detail and color accuracy.

The outstanding quality of the reproductions met with a great response and found its way into various BKM publications – supplemented by documentary films on art transportation and exhibition installations.

This work gave rise to the idea of an exclusive artists’ network for highly professional reproductions and the targeted marketing of selected works of art.

Since then, Michael Eichfeld and Fabian Ketz have been working on a digital portal that combines high-quality art reproductions, artist networking and exclusive marketing – based on Fabian Ketz’s more than 20 years of experience in digital brand development and online marketing.

The portal will go live in 2026.
